Streamline Network product approval flows
Major Upgrade
Network Catalog Managers can now approve all distribution requests without Superuser involvement, including developer submissions to the network catalog and Marketplace Manager requests to add a network product from the network catalog. Previously, Superusers approved developer submissions to the network catalog, and Developers approved Marketplace Manager requests to add network products to another marketplace.
Marketplace Managers can add a network product directly to the local staging catalog without submitting a Request to Add to the product Developer or the Network Catalog Manager. Because the product is already approved for network distribution, the additional approval request is no longer required. Developers continue to receive a notification when their product is added to another marketplace.
📝 Note: Network Catalog Manager is available only to customers with a Network edition marketplace. Some capabilities are further restricted to AppDirect base partner marketplaces.
UI updates
- Marketplace Manager view: On the Add from Network Catalog page, Add to Staging replaces Request to Add for network products.
- Network Catalog Manager view: Approved products appear automatically under Manage > Network > Products.

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.
